This dataset was originally created as an ArcView shapefile and imported into the Cass County Geodatabase in June 2009. Data Sources: Cass County parcel data derived from Auditor's Tax System. Cass County Central Voter File West Fargo Assessor parcel information. Cass County building Footprints West Fargo Building Footprints 6" & 12" Aerial Imagery Process: The address points were initially created by converting the tax parcel polygons to a point feature using the Feature to Point tool in ArcToolbox. The file was cleaned to remove redundant polygons with no address. Using aerial imagery the file was edited to move each point onto the building structure. Multiple units polygons generated stacked points. These were dispersed so they were visibly selectable. Each point was classified into a specific "type" such as residential etc.
